Cassie's from Changeling: the Lost, a game from White Wolf's new World of Darkness universe. I won't go into too much detail here, since there are excellent resources on the internet (an easy glossary at Flaming Sofa Productions, for instance, and the fan wiki for a more in-depth look.
Changelings were originally human, but were stolen by the True Fae and taken to their realm. They've escaped and made it back to the real world, but their time in Faerie (also known as Arcadia) twisted them into something part-human and part-fae.
Cassie is Wizened, meaning that she was defined by the tasks she was given during her time in Arcadia, in her case building things (making her, specifically, a Smith). She's a member of the Spring Court (the court of Desire), which, for her, means that she tries to focus on building a new life for herself, rather than dwelling on the past.
General Changeling abilities:
Hedge travel: The Hedge is the boundary realm that separates Arcadia from the mortal world. Changelings can create doors to the Hedge, allowing them to travel through it, but it's dangerous and very easy to get lost.
Kenning: A (sufficiently sane) changeling can often tell whether another person (or an object) is supernatural, and sometimes the type of magic if it's familiar.
The Mask: To humans, a changeling's supernatural features are concealed by a powerful illusion, although they can sometimes bleed through; other changelings will see Cassie's mechanical joints, but anyone without second sight of some kind would think they're seeing an ordinary prosthetic.
Contracts: These are powered by Glamour, which is mainly gained by absorbing emotion from mortals.
Artifice 5: Cassie has an affinity for machines. With varying chances of success, she can temporarily fix machines without parts or proper tools, break machines with a touch or briefly stop them working with a glare, and even MacGuyver functional devices together out of mismatched parts.
Dream 1: She can ask simple questions of the Hedge, making it a little easier to avoid getting lost.
Eternal Spring 3: She's not very good at it, but she can use magic to speed people's healing. And call rain, for some reason.
[Technical note: this is Cassie as she stands after two years of play, and therefore she's a bit more powerful than a starting build. If anyone objects to this, let me know and I'll limit it to her original abilities.]
